A wedding is a fine opportunity to make something special.
This is Liz just before the ceremony, wearing a necklace and earrings I made from family heirloom pearls and vintage Swarovski drops.
And here is the couple under the windblown veil I made. That's a lot of tulle! Her beautiful bouquet (and all the wedding flowers) were created by talented Cynthia Mooney, a fellow PAC member.
Congratulations Lizzie and Matthew!

PAC Picnic: Blocks and Blox
Some of our members are involved in a "Drunk Love in a Log Cabin" quilt block exchange. This month, 2 of the players received the blocks made by their fellow participants. We laid them out on the lawn to admire. Another fun endeavor! We are so lucky to be amongst such talented artists and good friends.

Wood - paper - paint!
See Lenall's post below for details about this fund raiser for artists using a recycled cigarette vending machine!
Here are the block fronts:
Here are the same blocks on the back, made with modeling paste, stencils, acrylic paint and Tseninko ink.
There are 22 blocks in all . . . what a blast to make!
