Scraps of colorful fabrics are sewn together in quilt-fashion with additional fabric appliques. All are free-motion stitched in place.
The inside cover is just as pretty with Lenox printer's paper signatures. The giveaway includes one of her mini-palettes full of watercolor paints.

I love love love journaling! I'm seriously thinking I will take this class as I love using fabric....sigh so much to learn....my two favorite things fabric and watercolor..... a big thanks for an opportunity to win the journal and watercolors and at least it will go to someone who appreciates the craftmanship, time and effort!

ooooo! What a fun little journal with some of my favorite Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I loved the journal we made in your Art and Soul workshop several years ago and wish you would instruct there again! Now you have branched out into fabric. It really sounds like your Portland art group is a very fine experience.

It's a beautiful journal.
Two things I love to include in my art work is texture and color.... this journal fits the bill perfectly. The travel paintbox is so clever! I have just begun to journal and would love to do some painting and writing in this one.
